Hood Museum of ArtDescriptionMarked by the American Association of Museums as "a national model," the Hood Museum of Art is one of the oldest and biggest college museums in the country, housing an excellent collection of works of art and artifacts and presenting a lively and divergent schedule of exhibitions and educational programs. As the only institution of its kind in the region, the museum serves as a significant cultural resource for the students, faculty, and staff of Dartmouth College as well as the many country communities of the Upper Connecticut River Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont.
The Museum Shop proposes great variety of books, cards, posters, jewelry, art supplies, and other items for purchase.
Operating HoursTuesday - Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: 12 noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday evening to 9 p.m.
