The Noyes Museum of ArtDescriptionThe Noyes Museum of Art The Noyes Museum of Art is the place in southern New Jersey for people to meet, and explore and enjoy art. The Noyes Museum of Art, only 15 minutes from Atlantic City, perfectly blends the artistic creations of humans with the wonderful setting of nature. Opened in 1983, The Noyes Museum was the vision of entrepreneurs Fred W. Noyes Jr. and Ethel Noyes, who also created the Historic Towne of Smithville. The Noyeses were eager collectors of art and antiques. An academically-trained artist, Fred Noyes produced artworks of his own, reflective of his love of South Jersey's natural features. The Museum's collection contains many of Noyes' paintings and objects that the Noyeses collected over the years.
