Summer Cottage Inn

Description

The inn was designed and built in the Italianate style, with cupola, by the famous architect, Stephen Decatur Button. After being used as a summer residence in the late 1800's and early 1900's, the house then served as a restaurant and guest house for many years.

We are located in the Historic District on a quiet, tree lined street, only one block from the beach and the Victorian Mall, close to many excellent restaurants and shops in the midst of graceful Victorian architecture. Take pleasure in walking and biking to the antique shops, art galleries, the restored Physick Estate, enjoy a trolley tour, a historical walking tour, or visit several Victorian homes open to the public.
