Leaming's Run GardensDescriptionA visit to Leaming's Run is an enjoyable relaxing walk along winding paths where at every turn and around each bend is yet another celebration of nature's beauty. Bridges, ponds and nooks are just a part of the many individually designed and expertly crafted gardens that comprise the biggest annual gardens in the USA. Each visit is unequalled with ever changing vistas from May through October. Benches are provided for your enjoyment along the way as you are invited to enjoy the scenery at your own pace.
Getting ThereFrom the North via Garden State Parkway. Traveling south on the Garden State Parkway, take Exit 13. Turn right onto Avalon Boulevard and proceed to traffic light. Turn right onto Route 9 and travel north for one mile. Garden entrance on left immediately after bend.
From Philadelphia. Take the Walt Whitman Bridge into NJ. Take Route 42. Exit from right onto Route 55. Follow Rt. 55 all the way until it ends onto Delsea Drive. Within a short distance the road forks - kept to left following Alt. Delsea Drive (Route 670). Stay on this road. Shortly after passing through Dennisville make left onto Route 83. Follow Rt. 83 till it ends onto Route 9. Make right onto Rt. 9. Garden entrance appears shortly on right immediately before bend in road.
From Cape May - Lewes Ferry. Follow signs and get onto Garden State Parkway North. Get off at Exit 13. Turn onto Avalon Boulevard heading west following signs for Route 9 and Swainton. Proceed to traffic light. Turn right onto Rt. 9 and travel north for one mile. Garden entrance on left immediately after bend.
