Thousand Islands Museum

Description

The Thousand Islands Museum houses special exhibits of world class muskies and hunting decoys from the past and present. The Museum celebrated its 40th Anniversary of preserving the past for the Thousand Islands Region in 2004.

The Museum hosts the international Decoy & Wildlife Art Show & Auction held every year the third weekend in July. The show features hunting decoy contests as well as an auction. Works of art by famous artists from all over the United States and Canada are displayed for purchase.

The Museum gallery offers history of life along the St. Lawrence and the new archival library is open for research of river heritage.
