The breathtaking beauty of the Hood River Valley takes just a few moments to see, but you will remember it for a lifetime.
All tours include a look at our live gift packing area, admission into the "Remembering our Roots" exhibit, and a peek at our 1940s cold storage area which is the future home of the Fruit Heritage Museum.
The Fruit Company loves the history of the Hood River Valley, and we are working in conjunction with other local organizations to preserve its heritage and the legacy of the American Orchardist. The Fruit Foundation is a non-profit Historical Society. The Fruit Foundation plans to open The Fruit Heritage Museum in Spring 2007. The future Fruit Heritage Museum will be located in the cold storage portion of The Fruit Company’s 1940s packing house. This museum will feature the past, present, and future of the fruit industry and the Hood River Valley.
