Oregon Coast Aquarium

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is not only a place where you can observe marine life, but also a place for parties, from elegant dinners to casual get-togethers. The Aquarium offers opportunity for holding your daytime and after-hours meetings, wedding receptions, holiday parties, or family reunions.

You can enjoy private visits with our seals, sea lions, sea otters and seabirds in a naturalized setting. Indoors, our four large exhibit galleries plus “Passages of the Deep” are also yours to explore, from Sandy Shores to Coastal Waters. Volunteers are on hand to answer questions about the exhibits and animals.

Operating Hours

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is open
every day except December 25th.
Our hours vary with the seasons:

Winter Hours: After Labor Day to
Memorial Day Weekend
10 a.m.–5 p.m. daily

Summer Hours: Memorial Day Weekend
through Labor Day Weekend
9 a.m.–6 p.m. daily

Entrance Fee

General Admission Rates (includes admission
to all aquarium exhibits) are as follows:

Adult: (13-64) $12.00
Youth: (3-12) $7.00
Seniors: (65+) $10.00
Children (0-2) are free!

Directions

From Portland, take Route 18 west to U.S. Hwy 101. Follow U.S. Hwy 101 south through Newport, across the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Turn left onto 32nd Street. At the "T", turn left onto SE Ferry Slip Road. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is straight ahead on the right, just north of the Aquarium Village shops. (Approximately 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours depending on traffic and time of year).

From Portland, take I-5 south to Corvallis. From there, take Hwy 20 west to U.S. Hwy 101. Follow U.S. Hwy 101 south through Newport, across the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Turn left onto 32nd Street. At the T, turn left onto SE Ferry Slip Road. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is straight ahead on the right, north of the Aquarium Village shops. (Approximately 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours depending on traffic and time of year).

From Eugene, take Route 126 west to U.S. Hwy 101. Follow U.S. Hwy 101 north to Newport (if you go across the Yaquina Bay Bridge, you’ve gone too far). Turn right onto 32nd Street. At the T, turn left onto SE Ferry Slip Road. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is straight ahead on the right, just north of the Aquarium Village shops. (Approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours).
