Mission Mill MuseumWhile visiting Mission Mill Museum you will see Mission houses and an Oregon Trail settler's house, a historic church and the structures, equipment and original water-powered turbine of the Thomas Kay Woolen Mill with related artifacts. You'll also learn the museum's history and different legends.
I'm sure it will be interesting for everyone, after visiting the museum, to go and see The Salem Fiberarts Guild, an active guild for weavers and spinners. The Salem Fiberarts Guild makes its home in the Textile Learning Center on the fourth floor of the Mill Building. If you are interested in fiber arts, visit our special programs, which are presented at each meeting on various aspects of weaving, spinning and related fiber arts. Ask your textile questions and get answers!
Visit also our Millstream Knitting Guild, if you are fond of knitting. We welcome knitters of any skill level.
Try all this and get very useful knowledge and fun!
