Erie ZooDescriptionErie Zoo houses over 500 animals, representing more than 100 species from all continents. The zoo highlights not only the animals, but also about 600 species of plants and flowers that have been carefully incorporated into the landscape. Various gardens include the Butterfly gardens and the Greenhouse. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the Children's Zoo, which houses some of the Zoo's most gentle inhabitants. Visitors of the zoo can also take a ride on the train and carousel.

Operating HoursThe Erie Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the summer months, the zoo is open until 6 p.m. on Sundays. The Zoo is closed December, January and February.
