Landis Valley MuseumDescriptionLandis Valley Museum is the largest and the most famous museum in Lancaster. It was founded by George and Harry Landis in the 1920's. Today it is a small village consisting of two dozens historic structures. Some of the buildings are native to the Valley, and others were relocated here. Landis Valley Museum collects, conserves, exhibits, and interprets Pennsylvania German material, culture, history and heritage. Exhibits of the museum offer a glimpse into the lives of those who settled in Lancaster County, beginning in the early eighteenth century.

Operating HoursMonday through Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. The museum is closed some major holidays.
Getting ThereLandis Valley Museum is located 2.5 miles north of Lancaster on Route 272/Oregon Pike, a marked exit off both Route 30 and Route 222.
