The Victorian style and Colonial designed hotel was built and opened in 1898. Six inviting, cozy, romantic guestrooms with century old style furnishing.
The Apenhof guesthouse is located in the woods and surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of southern berks county. So much of it's history can be experienced through the walking trails and serenity of the nearby lake. Only a few miles to the south lies lancaster county which is home to the amish people. Experience their authentic life style and explore the culture of the amish country. It's near the world famous outlet shopping mecca for which berks county is so well known.
On the first floor of the house there is The Apenhof Restaurant with it's quaint, charming and friendly atmosphere. We serves traditional german specialities and a wide variety of american dishes to suit almost every taste.
