The Hygeia House was built in 1883; it served as both the homestead and practice of Dr. John C. Champlin, one of the island's most successful hoteliers and also the island's only physician. In 1999 the building was purchased and fully restored by Champlin Starr, the great grandson of Dr. Champlin, and his wife Lisa. Now the Starrs and their two young children are the innkeepers of The Hygeia House. They welcome you to visit them and to spend nice time.

Roger Williams Park Zoo is well known not only in Rhode Island but also in many other states. It has received accolades from all over the country for its conservation and education efforts as well as its entertainment value. The zoo was ranked by Yankee Magazine as an "Editor's Pick" in 2001 and was chosen as "Best Family Outing" by Citysearch.com users. But our awards is not the only thing we are proud of. Our animals is the real cause.

Belcourt Castle is the only Newport Mansion where the owners still live in residence. It's hard to see them but they are always nearby, and they open their home for the public to enjoy the beauty of a Richard Morris Hunt masterpiece. Our tour is one of the best guided tours in the whole Newport today.
Go through the hall with ghosts or enjoy a Candlelight Tour, dance with the witches on our Halloween Ball and then drink your Sunday Christmas tea. All is for you...
