Columbia Museum of Art

Description

South Carolina's international art museum, the Columbia Museum of Art features a notable Renaissance and Baroque collection – a gift from the Samuel Kress Foundation, which includes Old Master paintings, many of which were commissioned by churches in Italy in the 15th and 16th centuries. The permanent collection also includes Claude Monet's The Seine at Giverny and art glass by Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Entrance Fee

Adults: $5
Seniors: $4
Students: $2

Operating Hours

Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed on Monday.
Closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Independance Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

The Columbia Museum of Art is located in downtown Columbia, just blocks from the State Capitol building and University of South Carolina campus.
