Myrtle Beach Attractions
 Actually, Family Kingdom includes two parks in one - an amusement park and a water park, both of them are located right on the beach. The amusement park contains more than 30 fun-filled rides. The water park, although modest in size, features an ample array of slides, chutes and floats.

 Myrtle Beach Pavilion Amusement Park features more than 40 spectacular rides, specialty shops, video games, a teen nightclub, a NASCAR simulator, antique cars, and an oceanfront arcade. The Pavilion is a fascinating adventure for every age.

 Myrtle Waves Park is South Carolina's largest water park. It presents 20 acres of swerves, curves, waves and chutes and more than one million gallons of water. Admission covers all 32 rides and attractions for a full day.

 Located in Broadway at the Beach, Ripley's Aquarium is one of the most visited attraction in South Carolina. A long underwater tunnel allows visitors to see exotic marine creatures on display, from poisonous lionfish to moray eels to an octopus.

 One of the oldest plantations in the south, Magnolia Plantation is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The mansion is filled with museum-quality Early American furniture. The beautiful gardens reach their peak bloom in March and April but are colorful year-round.

 Built in 1808, this house is one of America's finest examples of Federal architecture. It belonged to Nathaniel Russell, one of Charleston's richest merchants. The interior is distinguished by its ornate detailing and lavish period furnishings.

 On this man-made island in Charleston Harbor America's most tragic conflict ignited: Confederate forces fired the first shot of the Civil War on April 12, 1861. Fort Sumter remains a powerful symbol to both the South and the North, a memorial to all who fought to hold it.
