Knolle Farm & Ranch Main GuesthouseDescriptionAs one enters into the main guesthouse of Knolle Farm & Ranch not far from Corpus Christi, he enters into a composition surrounded by white fences and horse paddocks. It features lush green lawns, tidy flowerbeds and rose and vegetable gardens. Something like the English countryside, something like the South of France, distinctly remembrance of the Caribbean, it is especially not South Texas rural "ranch" style.
Visitors are impressed by the large white stucco barn, built in the 1930s, which contains the Main Guest House, Guest Tack Room, Dog House, tack rooms and horse stalls. This barn was the main show barn for Knolle Jersey Farms for over 40 years. The dark green shutters and terra cotta trim make the tone for the interior as well as other neighboring frames and guest houses, and conserves that old-time stucco warmth.
For the family vacation, weekend or romantic getaway, the Main Guest House contains 2 bedrooms (1 with king bed and 2 twins), a huge living and a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and an enclosed patio.
