Alla's Historical Bed and Breakfast Inn Dallas Tx

Welcome to Alla's Romantic Bed and Breakfast which is the oldest original all brick home in the city of Duncanville (South-West Dallas County) built by the chief Mason in 1927, John C. Pelt.
The B&B is within 10 miles of some of Dallas' best restaurants and shops. Duncanville is a small quante city that is a combination of rural life and modern conviences with the historical charm of the 1920's and 1930's.
Within 10 miles of our South-West Dallas B&B are the following attractions:
JFK 6th Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza, Dallas World Acquarium, Fair Park, Dallas Museun of Art, West Village (shopping and dinning center), Dallas Symphony Center, American Airlines Center, Majestic Theater, and The Crescent & Mood Spas. Within 15 miles of our loging is Six Flags Over Texas attractions.
In the following morning, you will enjoy hot breakfasts that can be had anywhere with many choices. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, juice, coffee and many American and European specialties.
If you have been on the road awhile and need some laundry done, no problem.
Within 10 minutes drive of the property are workout gyms, area lakes, and the Cider Ridge Park that has some of the longest and most scenic walking trails that one can find in this state. One can spend all day there. Expect more than a hotel or inns! For vacation travel, experience the best romantic escape or getaway in Texas. We welcome military or business people who need to rent a room for a special monthly price.

Anyone ordering any two rooms in our Inn will enjoy the privilage of having the entire place privately to themselves.

Mama Pelt's Room
The original room especially
built for John C. Pelt's
mother. She lived here
until her mid-nineties.

throughout. Also
features a private
entrance and exit to the
porch outside as well as
the hallway.

The Guest Room
The center bedroom of
this house is the guest
room, which originally
served the purpose of
housing the children of
the Pelt family and later
for the guests.

For those who prefer a
formal dining area to have
their breakfast, we offer
you this dining room.
Your order is served on a
spacious carved solid oak
table. If wanted, one can
enjoy vintage music with
their food. Maximum
seating capacity is six.

The cozy corner of the
Guest Room. Enjoy sitting
in our vintage Rococo chair
with a glass of wine and
hors d'oeuvre.

John C. Pelt's Room
The front bedroom was
the master bedroom of
the Pelt's. It has its own
private entrance and exit
to the front porch and
the corridor.

This very large kitchen has
its own private dining area
for your breakfast. It is one
of the four dining areas that
you are able to choose. This
table seats up to six.

Unique all brick, arched
wrap-around porch, and
makes a wonderful
private dining area for
barbeque, breakfast, and
things such as smoking
and just plain relaxing.
Let Alla prepare a special
dinner for you on the grill
by special request!

This spacious half acre
backyard offers dining
outdoors for breakfast up to
six people and provides
plenty of space for outdoor
activities and special events.
