Galveston's East Beach is the coolest and largest beach in Texas. Now wide-known for its wild beach parties, East Beach boasts main outdoor concerts, special events, promotions, various contests, live bands, and other activities.

Unlike most beaches, drinking is lawful on East Beach. East Beach has a great pavilion that comes alive on weekends throughout the spring and summer. East Beach offers restrooms, showers, food, video games, gifts, and a patio beach bar/band scene that's open on weekend afternoons May till August.

Chairs and umbrellas are available for you on weekends May through August. East Beach is "Houston's Playground," situated just 45 minutes south of the fourth biggest city in America. So you're welcome to relax, get funky and get free on Galveston Island's East Beach. Stay with the crowd or evade to a quiet spot and relax!

East Beach holds about 7,000 cars on a vast wide open beach and is an ideal location for ticketed outdoor concerts and festivals. East Beach welcomes people of all ages and, of course, beach enthusiasts.
