Space Center HoustonDescriptionThere are multitude of demonstrations and activities to entertain both adults and youth, and they do an important job of showing visitors different aspects of space exploration. The center stands on interactive displays and simulations on the one hand and actual access to the true thing on the other.
For instance, the Feel of Space gallery demonstrates working in the frictionless room of space by using an air-bearing floor (something like a huge air hockey table). Another model shows what it's like to land the lunar orbiter.
For an actual experience of NASA guests of the center can take the 1 1/2-hour tram tour that moves you to the International Space Station Assembly Building and NASA control center and other interesting places. Guests will experience things just like they happen, mainly interesting if there's a shuttle mission in advance. It's also possible to see like astronauts are training. And, on top of all this, Space Center Houston has the giant screen Theatre, the biggest in Texas.
