Blue Streak Riding Stables SeguinDescriptionThis place is almost paradise for the "horse crazy" girls. They find out what it really means to have a horse. Their daily duties involve morning feeding, brushing, cleaning out hooves, saddling, riding lessons, bathing, braiding mane and cleaning the horse's stall. Riding lessons are arranged by professional riding instructors daily. Also, beginner vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) are included. Afternoon classroom includes learning of key topics which every rider should know.
For beginners, Blue Streak Stables offers western Style Riding lessons. Students will work upon involve horsemanship safety, ground handling, basic body positioning & alignment, grooming, saddling and mounting. They will learn how to utilize the four aids to control the horse. Body alignment, balance, and an independent seat are the main blocks.
Whether you have never sit on a horse before or are an intermediate to advanced rider, the instruction and activities at this camp will alter and improve your riding skills. Safety skills in working with horses are always present.
