The Highland Inn of San Juan Island

The Highland Inn is the ideal location for romance, vacation, honeymoon or just a quiet getaway surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy the beautiful San Jun Island and be close to nature! The inn overlooks the Haro Straits where it joins the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Guests of the inn can watch Orca whales from the inn’s deck. From April through October the waters below the inn become their feeding and play grounds. Whale Watch Park and the Lime Kiln Lighthouse are located just a mile up the coast. There are many hiking trails and picnic spots in the area.

The inn is open all year. Two comfortable suites are tastefully decorated with comfort and pleasure in mind. A full gourmet breakfast is served in the suite, in the dining room or, if the weather permits, on the covered veranda overlooking the sea.
