Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture

Description

Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture was founded in 1918 as the Eastern Washington State Historical Society. Nowadays it consists of the historic Campbell House, Cheney Cowles Museum and the main exhibition building. The collections of the museum include over 68,000 objects representing fine art and material culture from the Americas, Europe, and Asia, but the main theme of the museum is Native American culture. One of the most fascinating exhibits focuses on the region's Plateau Indians.

Students: $5
Children (5 year of age & under): Free

Tuesday - Sunday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
(First Friday of Each Month: Open until 8 p.m.)
Mondays: Closed
Holidays: Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day
