Spokane Attractions
 Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture features a large collection of Plateau Indian arts and handicrafts. The museum also hosts temporary art exhibits. Next door to the museum is the historic Campbell House; a tour of this old mansion is included in the admission price.

 Arbor Crest Winery is located in the historic Cliff House a 450-foot-high bluff. The House overlooks the Spokane River. Both the spectacular view and good wine are reasons to visit Arbor Crest. In summer there are concerts here.

 The wildlife of the Pacific Rim countries is the main theme of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. It houses different animals from such far-flung locations as the Arctic tundra, Southeast Asia, and the Andes Mountains. Guests of the park can also enjoy breathtaking views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains.

 One of the best zoos in the United States, Woodland Park Zoo attracts visitors by seasonal pony rides, snakes and flesh-eating piranhas. Exhibits are focused on Alaska, tropical Asia, the African savanna, and the tropical rainforest.

 Located at the foot of the Space Needle, this rock 'n' roll museum celebrates American popular music. The most popular exhibits here are the interactive rooms, where visitors can play guitars, drums, keyboards, or even DJ turntables. The museum also features the world's largest collection of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia.

 Located right next door to Boeing Field, the Museum of Flight welcomes plane-lovers of all ages. The collection of planes starts with a replica of the Wright brothers' 1903 plane and brings visitors to the present state of flight.

 Exhibits of the Seattle Art Museum cover Northwest Coast Indian art, Asian art, European and American art ranging from ancient Mediterranean works to pieces from the medieval, Renaissance, and baroque periods. Free guided tours of the different collections are offered.

 Olympic National Park impresses visitors with its diversity - glacier capped mountains, wild Pacific coast and magnificent stands of old-growth forests. About 95% of the park is designated wilderness, and many interior parts are accessible only by trail. Scenic drives to Hurricane Ridge and along the Pacific Coast provide glimpses of Olympic's diversity.

 When it was built for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle was meant to suggest future architectural trends. Today it is the quintessential symbol of Seattle. Its observation deck at 520 feet above ground level provides superb views of the city and its surroundings.

 This bustling open-air market is a great place for shopping and dining. Apart from farmers and fishmongers, craftspeople and artists can be found here. There are also hundreds of small specialty shops. Street performers entertain visitors.
