Museum of Glass

Description

Museum of Glass is an international center for contemporary art with a sustained focus on glass. Art glass in all its myriad forms is presented in the Museum. You can find here Murano glass, stained glass in the style of Tiffany, a traveling exhibit from a European museum, or the latest thought-provoking installation by a cutting-edge glass artist.

The museum highlight is the Hot Shop, located in the huge cone-shaped studio space. The Museum's resident team of glass blowers demonstrates the process of creating studio works on the amphitheater stage.

The 500-foot-long Chihuly Bridge of Glass connects the museum to the rest of the city.
