Children's Theatre of Charleston

Description

Children's theatre of Charleston gives children and families the opportunity to share the total theater experience. Every season, we perform wide range of shows for the general public and for audiences of other kids who take a break during their school day to come experience the magic of live theatre.

Since 1932, The Children's Theatre of Charleston has educated children about the theatre. It can give them an opportunity to learn and thrive by participating in plays—performing on stage or in important backstage roles. The Children's Theatre of Charleston holds open auditions for all shows.

The usual age for CTOC casts is from 8 to adult, but sometimes younger children are considered.A full cast of volunteers and performers makes the Children's Theatre of Charleston the longest running show in West Virginia connecting children with their performing talents and guiding them in appreciating the arts.
