Nearby restaurants, pubs and shops, each of them offer relaxed dining, handcrafted souvenirs and country antiques.The Potomac Highland's high altitude and crystalline rivers are magic place for hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, Nordic and downhill skiing, rock climbing, caving, hunting and trout fishing. Bring your own equipment, or we'll introduce you to local outfitters for guidance, trip planning and rentals.The Inn has been completely changed to accommodate 25 guests in 7 bedrooms and one family suite, all with private baths. Simple and comfortable , our rooms are furnished with country antiques, rustic pine floors, colorful rugs and hand-made quilts. Every room has a private bath, and includes a full country breakfast; we welcome families, and small children. Quiet, friendly and well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional charge of $10 per night. We ask only that they stay either in your room or outdoors during your stay.
