Olbrich Botanical GardensDescriptionEnjoy the mystery and beauty of nature at Olbrich Botanical Gardens! Olbrich features 10 specialty gardens connected by an accessible network of pathways: Sunken Garden, Thai Pavilion and Garden, Meadow Garden, Rock Garden, Wildflower Garden, Herb Garden, Perennial Garden, Rose Garden, Starkweather Creek and Atrium Shade Gardens, Eunice Fisher Hosta Garden. All year around visitors can explore wonderful collection of of plants at Olbrich's Bolz Conservatory - a glass pyramid, filled with exotic plants, bright flowers, fragrant orchids and free-flying birds.
Entrance FeeOutdoor gardens are free to the public. Admission to the Bolz Conservatory is $1 per person, children 5 and under are free.
Operating HoursOpen daily year-round, except Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Day.
Oudoor Display Gardens Hours: April through September from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. October through March from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Bolz Conservatory & Gift Shop Hours: From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Getting ThereFrom Downtown Madison: Travel outbound East Washington to Fair Oaks Avenue. Turn right. Continue on Fair Oaks to the second stoplight, Atwood Avenue. Turn left. Travel 1/4 mile. The Gardens are on the left side of the street.
